Hello!

I'm a 25-year old musician currently living in Dunfermline, Fife. I have been a full-time performer for over 3 years now, and it's been an amazing journey. Starting (very) small with only my guitar in hand, I've been privileged to play at a huge variety of events, weddings, and hospitality venues across the UK.

Music has always played a central role in my life, and it's stayed with me ever since I figured out that being the centre of attention is sometimes a lot of fun! My early experiences as a young performer in musical theatre projects across the country ensured I was hooked, but it was only after I graduated university in 2021 with a BA in International Business that I discovered that work could be a lot more rewarding if I just did what I always seemed to do best.

My first professional gig as a solo musician was in November 2021, after I had quit my job and decided I needed to pursue music full-time. I took a leap of faith, and fortunately I am able to complete the cliché by saying that it paid off, and I am now happily playing over 200 gigs per year, with plenty of time still to pursue my new hobby: baking!​

 

In short, I am humbled every day to be able to do what I love as a job. But, something about that word, 'job', keeps me pressing on, feeling the need to push every aspect of my work past expectations, because it would be dangerously easy to rest on my laurels. Music has treated me far too well for that. 

 

Everything good in my life has come out of my love for performing and listening to music. It's how I met my wife, it's how I grow as a person, and frankly, it's what I'd be doing anyway having taken another path. I really care about what music brings to life, and what it can bring to the events that help us to celebrate it. It will never be 'just a job' for me.
